🔑 Building -mente adverbs
| Adjective | Rule | Adverb |
|---|---|---|
| lento/a | feminine form + mente | lentamente |
| felice | ends in -e, just add mente | felicemente |
| facile | drop final -e if -le/-re | facilmente |
🧩 Irregular and common adverbs
- buono → bene · cattivo → male
- Frequency: sempre, spesso, qualche volta, raramente, mai
- Adverbs usually go right after the verb: Parla bene l'italiano.

Almost every Italian adverb ends in -mente, from the Latin word for 'mind' — so lentamente literally means 'with a slow mind.'
